on Thanksgiving morning -
Thursday, November 27th, 2014
The Junior Woman's
Club of Mequon-Thiensville "Turkey Trot &
Gobble Gallop" is our one big fundraiser
of the year. This fundraiser, held on
Thanksgiving Day morning, has over 1,000
participants. The morning's events include a
5K Run/Walk through the scenic Village of
Thiensville, as well as a 50 meter dash for
children ten and younger at the Thiensville

To commemorate the 10th
anniversary our theme is
10-in-10. That is,
proceeds from this year's event will go to 10
previous Turkey Trot recipients. Some of the
organizations are well known, while others are
lesser known organizations. Whether big or
small, we are passionate about the profound
impact each have on our local community. This
year's recipients will be:
COPE Services, Interfaith
Caregivers, Portal, Inc., Village of
Thiensville, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Ozaukee
County, Advocates, Balance, Inc., Mequon Nature
Preserve, Mequon K-9 Unit and the Treasures of
New This Year
Thanksgiving pies and register for Turkey
Trot at the same time! Pies will be expertly
MILA's Bakery! Apple and Pumpkin Pies
are available for pre-order!
MYSTERY GOODY BAGS! Each
participant has a chance to receive a
mystery goody bag at packet pick-up.
OLDEST T-SHIRT CONTEST:
Bring your oldest JWC-MT Turkey Trot T-Shirt
on the day of the event. The oldest T-Shirts
will win a gift card to

EARLY Packet Pick-Up
Pick-up your race bag in Village Park the
day before the race -
Wed, Nov. 26th,
between 12 & 4pm.
Awards this year are
being generously donated by
non-perishable food items, to be donated to a local pantry, are
collected on race day. Thanksgiving Day participants receive
terrific prizes, race t-shirts, and yummy treats. Prizes are
awarded by age groups. Come enjoy the fun and start an annual
